 Six Panthers Named All-WRAC

June 18, 2008 - Knightstown dominated the White River Athletic Conference in baseball this past season, and that fact showed up with the selection of six Panthers to the all-conference team.

Senior pitchers Joe Haase and Jordan Bearhope were named to the All-WRAC team, as well as seniors Trey McColley and Chad Oakes. Junior Brice Biehl and sophomore Levi Blair were also named to the team.

Donnie Martin was named the coach of the year.

Eastern Hancock had four players on the all-conference roster, including senior Jacob Low, sophomore Jeff Ryan and freshmen Steve Stunda and Clayton Kramer. Knightstown won the WRAC going away, finishing 8-0 and a full four games ahead of second place Shenandoah and Lapel (both 3-3). The Royals and Wes-Del were both 2-6.

Knightstown didn’t have any representatives on the girls tennis or softball all-conference teams. Eastern Hancock’s doubles team of Karman Wright and Carlee Silverman were named All-WRAC, and sophomore Kristen Brooks made the WRAC softball team.
