 Kinnaman Steals Home, Devil Rays Edge Red Sox in Majors Action

 

May 23, 2007 - Caleb Kinnaman stole home to provide the winning run and lead the White Flash Auto Parts Devil Rays to a 4-3, extra-inning victory over the Knightstown Locker Red Sox in Optimist Club boys major league baseball action last week.

Jordan Jessup doubled, singled and scored a run to lead the offensive attack for the winners.

Levi Jessup also had a hit and an RBI, while Jake Kwisz and Brandon Kindler both scored runs. Luke Mattix also had a hit for the Devil Rays.

Walker Titus doubled, singled, scored one run and drove in another for the Red Sox.

Matt Warwick had a double, single and RBI, while Trent McDonald rapped a double, scored once and drove in another run.

Mason Campbell scored for the Red Sox, while Jacob Blower and Lane Olsheske also hit safely in the Saturday afternoon contest.
