Phi Chi Epsilon Members Attend Convention

April 23, 2008 (web only) - Six members attended the Phi Chi Epsilon Convention in Crawfordsville on Sunday April 13. Those attending were Grand President Donna Thrasher, Grand Organizer Victoria Goodspeed, Kathy Ingermann, Barbara Purvis, Kathy Rogers and Diana Nash.

Nu Chapter met April 14 at the home of Mary Alice Kaiser in Knightstown.

Twelve members and guest Joan Browning were present. The group voted to make a donation to the Knightstown Library again this year. Victoria explained the Yahoo Group website she had setup for Phi Chi Epsilon chapters to use. Forty pair of gently used shoes were collected to be taken to the Three Rivers SWMD on Broad Street in New Castle who is sponsoring a shoe reuse program where shoes will be given to third world countries around the world. The Mother’s Day dinner will be May 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pour House in Cambridge City.
