Kennard Town Hall to Host Youth Church Events

April 9, 2008 - Beginning on Sunday morning, April 20, a new kids’ ministry called “Kingdom-Ready-Kidz” will be hosting a special event in Kennard, at the Kennard Town Hall.

This special, spring-time event entitled, “Kingdom Quest,” is a one-hour children’s event, designed especially for kids ages kindergarten through the fifth grade, to learn about the subject that Jesus proclaimed was his purpose to preach in Luke 4:43: The Kingdom of God. For five consecutive Sunday mornings, from 11 a.m. to noon, kids will be given the opportunity to go on a quest to uncover the keys to understanding the mystery of the Kingdom of God. The program features hands-on learning, utilizing unique and creative lessons. Activities will include interactive games, crafts, fun music, cool door prizes and snacks, all free of charge.

For families who desire a change of pace from the traditional Sunday morning church scene, this innovative ministry will offer something different for kids, while presenting biblical truths with scriptural accuracy. All kids, ages kindergarten – fifth grade, are invited.

Interested families may pre-register by e-mailing Angela Moore at: Angela@AngelaHaysMoore.com. Children who are pre-registered by April 15 will receive special prizes. Parents and/or grandparents are welcome to stay to observe or lend a hand. Casual attire is recommended for play.

Kingdom-Ready-Kidz ministries is led by Knightstown residents Tony and Angela Moore. They are parents of five children of their own. In 2007, Angela Moore authored an illustrated children’s book on the topic about the Kingdom of God, entitled Maggie Seeks the Kingdom of God. Kingdom-Ready-Kidz children’s ministry is a division of the Knightstown Family Fellowship of the Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith.

For more information, contact Tony and Angela at 765-987-1648.
