 Joyce Marie Tanner

 October 9, 1943 – December 27, 2011

     Joyce Marie (Jones) Tanner, 68, died Dec. 27 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
    She was born Oct. 9, 1943, in Henry County, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Lenora Jones.
     Mrs. Tanner attended Knightstown schools. She was a member of Shirley Nazarene Church. She enjoyed shopping, camping, cooking, family, and her church.
     Survivors include her husband, Clyde Tanner of Greenfield; sons Rick Tanner of California, Steve Tanner of Greenfield, Marty (wife, Ginger) Tanner of Greenfield and Randy (wife, Misty) Tanner of New Castle; a daughter, Tammy (husband, Chris) Krug of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; her sisters, Janie Carroll and Ruth Van Horn of Greenfield and Maxine Renfro of Shirley; half-brother Bob Woods of Franklin; half-sister Viola Salzmann of Sacramento, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Ralph "Buzz" and Bill Jones.
     A memorial service will be held Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. at Shirley Church of the Nazarene.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Shirley Church of the Nazarene.
