Bonnie Lee Eaton
March 27, 1927 – December 20, 2011
Bonnie Lee Eaton, 84, of New Castle, died Dec. 20 at I.U.-Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born March 27, 1927, in Monticello, Ky., a daughter of the late Harrison Rufus and Martha Wayne (Crabtree) Morris.
Mrs. Eaton was known as a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, gardening and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Rose City Breakers CB Club.
Survivors include three children, Donald L. Eaton of New Castle, Phyllis (husband, Gary) Troxell of Mooreland and Carolyn S. (husband, Fred) Groce of Kennard; 10 grandchildren, Donald L. Eaton Jr. of Kokomo, Tim Eaton of Wapakoneta, Ohio, Kenny Eaton of Milford, Aimee Eaton of Cridersville, Ohio, Chris Eaton of New Castle, Lora (husband, Mark) Coffey of New Castle, Kevin Troxell of New Castle, Michelle (husband, Nelson) White of Kennard, Jason A. (wife, Marissa) Groce of Kennard and Whitney Groce of Kennard; 18 great-grandchildren; 15 greatgreat-grandchildren; and one sister, Anthea Coffey of Monticello, Ky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard W. Eaton; a son, Tommy Eaton; four sisters, Ruby, Lucy, Elsie and Roxie; and five brothers, Oliver "Slim," Hayden, Virgil, Dave and Ned Morris.
Visitation and funeral services were Dec. 27 at Main & Davis Funeral Home in New Castle. Burial followed at South Mound Cemetery in New Castle.
