 Annalee Lynch

 March 31, 1931 – December 25, 2011

Annalee Lynch photo     Annalee Lynch, 80, formerly of Connersville, died Dec. 25 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.
    She was born March 31, 1931, in Oaktown, a daughter of the late Urie and Anna Morgan Faris.
     Mrs. Lynch was a graduate of Alquina High School. She was born and raised in a parsonage and involved in the Christian community all her life. She was the daughter of a minister, the wife of a minister and the mother of two ministers. Mrs. Lynch and her husband lived in numerous communities, including Carthage, Monrovia, Connersville, Indianapolis and Martinsville. They also lived in Baxter, Minn., and since 2005, in Kalona, Iowa. Mrs. Lynch was known as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who spent her lifetime serving the Lord.
     Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward (wife, Cindy) Lynch of Connersville, Donald (wife, Ruthann) Lynch of Jacksonville, Fla., and Michael (wife, Karen) Lynch of Kalona, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Christopher (wife, Holly), Gregory, John (wife, Amanda), James, Jared, Brian (wife, Sarah) and Sarah; six greatgrandchildren, Calliope, Persephone, Molly, John Owen, Brooklyn and Madisyn; and many nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Andrew Lynch; and her nine brothers and sisters.
     Visitation was Dec. 28 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City and in Connersville on Dec. 30. Funeral services were Dec. 30 at Woodland Bible Church in Connersville with Pastor Knox Bullock officiating. Burial with private family services was at Everton Cemetery. Urban Winkler Funeral Home in Connersville was entrusted with local arrangements.
