Kathleen C. Collier
September 24, 1917 - November 26, 2011
Kathleen C. Collier, 94, of Beaver Creek, Ohio, died Nov. 26 at Lincoln Park Manor Nursing Home in Ohio.
She was born Sept. 25, 1917, in Shirley, a daughter of the late Ora and Lucy (Hicks) Cook. Mrs. Collier was a housewife, but later served as a secretary at Chrysler Corporation in New Castle for 16 years. After that, she served as a secretary and dental assistant for an additional three years. Prior to retirement she served as secretary at First Baptist Church in Richmond. A member of First Nighters Civic Theater in New Castle, she was also a teacher with Bible Study Fellowship.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Gary (wife, Sharon) Collier of Beaver Creek and Bruce (wife, Dian) Collier of Titusville, Fla.; a sister, Madonna (husband, Gene) Addison of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Cynthia (husband, Jay) Richards of Centerville, Ohio, Suzanne Collier of Kettering, Ohio, Jeremy (wife, Jenny) Collier of Franklin, Ohio, Mary (husband, Cory) Kuntz of Centerville, Ohio, and Elaine (husband, Aaron) Hedman of Titusville, Fla.; and six great-grandchildren, Macy, Max, Ashley and Wyatt Richards of Centerville, Ohio, and Payton and Seth Hedman of Titusville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Collier.
Funeral services are at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Phil Hodgkins officiating. Burial will follow at Harlan Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Dec. 1 at the funeral home.
