 Donald Keith Windell

 February 19, 1926 – November 20, 2011

Donald Keith Windell photo     Donald Keith Windell, 85, of Markleville, died Nov. 20 at Henry County Hospital in New Castle.
     He was born Feb. 19, 1926, in Markleville, a son of the late Walter and Bessie (Ramer) Windell.
     Mr. Windell graduated from Markleville High School in 1944 and lived in Markleville most of his life. He served with the U.S. Army from 1954-56 during the Korean War. He retired from Fisher Guide Corporation in Anderson after 26 years of service. He was a member of UAW #663. Mr. Windell enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, farming, gardening, mowing the yard and dancing.
     Survivors include his wife, Wilma (Ent) Windell; four daughters, Deborah (husband, Mike) Reding of Anderson, Donna Windell of Anderson, Pamela Windell of Markleville and Cheryl (husband, Patrick) Blanchard of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, Rodney Belcher of Pendleton, Erica Hightower of Fishers, Chad Reding of Fort Wayne, Cortney Lepper of Indianapolis, and Zachariah, Luke and Jennifer Blanchard of Indianapolis, one sister, Gertrude Russell of Cape Coral, Fla.; five great-grandchildren; and many sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
     He was preceded in death by his parents.
    Visitation was Nov. 22 and funeral services were Nov. 23 at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Robert Shaeffer officiating. Burial with military graveside services followed at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
