Terry "Mike" McKain, 58, of Indianapolis, died Nov. 13 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
He was born May 21, 1953, in Rushville, a son of Robert and Norma (Parish) McKain.
Mr. McKain grew up in Carthage and graduated from Carthage High School. He later graduated from Purdue University. Mr. McKain taught in Perry Township schools in Indianapolis. He also worked with his family at The Candy Shop in Metamora for several years. An avid fan of Purdue University sports, he was a member of Metamora United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Sherry Chandler of Metamora; a niece; and one nephew.
Funeral services are at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Metamora United Methodist Church with David Bowser officiating.
