County Democrats Elect New Party Leadership

March 25, 2009 - The Henry County Democratic Central Committee elected new officers at the New Castle/Henry County Public Library on Sat., March 7.

Allan Bramlett was elected chairman; Beverly Matthews, vice chair; Sandra York, secretary; and Dale Cole, treasurer. The newly elected slate will serve a four-year term as specified in the rules of the Indiana Democratic Party.

“We’re grateful to our supporters who join us in looking forward to moving the local party to a more active role in the community, with higher visibility and organized agenda,” said Bramlett. “We plan to increase our activity throughout the county and welcome all who want to be involved.”

Wayne Township Democrat precinct committeemen and their vice committeemen are Marion and Kathy Adkins in Wayne 1; Mark Cronk and Waynetta Dunn in Wayne 2 and Millie White and Cary Ellis in Wayne 3.
