Dinner, Raffle to Benefit Injured Three-year-old
October 15, 2008 - There will be a benefit dinner for the family of Landon Dishman, a three-year old who suffered a skull fracture while playing this summer. Royal Neighbors of American Chapter 1397 and the Philadelphia United Methodist Women will be hosting a Matching Funds Dinner to benefit the Dishman family this Friday, October 17, at Philadelpia United Methodist Church, 2265, W. U.S. 40, Greenfield.
Dishman spent 48 days at Methodist Hospital after his accident. He is recovering, but he has to attend physical therapy in Richmond three days a week. Royal Neighbors of America will match the funds raised up to $1,000.
The dinner includes turkey and noodles, green beans, mashed potatoes, a choice of salad, roll, dessert and drink. Adult meals are $7; kids 3-10 $4, and kids two and under free. Carry-out orders are available by calling 317-462-5782. There will also be a bake sale and raffle. The raffle includes $1 chances to win $100.
