August 27, 2008 - Boondocks Farms will be hosting the third annual Country Fest September 20-21, featuring two days of fun family activities highlighted by a concert from Casey Jamerson. The Country Fest is the opening weekend of the Boondocks Farms Fall activities including a Corn Maze, hayride, Haunted Woods Trail and pumpkin patch.

The weekend festivities include the return of the “Redneck Games” on Saturday at 2 p.m., as well as a BBQ Cooking Contest, which also begins at 2 p.m. For hunters and outdoorsman, there will be archery shoots Saturday and Sunday beginning with a shotgun start at 10 a.m., in addition to the Sportsman’s Den vendor booths. Following the conclusion of the Redneck Games, visitors can enjoy live country music from Ivy Dene and the Twilight at 6 p.m. followed by Casey Jamerson with only a $5/car parking fee.

The Boondocks Farms “Redneck Games” are an opportunity to take a minute to laugh at and with neighbors and friends. Events such as a sweet corn eating contest and mud pit belly flop make for an enjoyable day outdoors. The Fall activities will be held Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 20th through November 1. To navigate the 12-acre corn maze the cost is $7. Strolling through the haunted trails will cost the adventurous $8 while a hayride in the woods is only $5. A daily pass for all 3 can be purchased for $15 or season passes for $40. Children under 5 are free. Boondocks Farms is located 2 miles South of I-70 exit 115, just off State Road 109 at the end of County Road 800 South in Knightstown.
