 CAB Recognizes Students and Staff for Good Deeds

July 2, 2008 - Several students, school corporation employees and citizens were recognized at the June 17 meeting of the Charles A. Beard School Board for recent accomplishments and good deeds.

Students receiving special recognition from CAB interim Superintendent Ray Pavy included: all 2008 Knightstown High School graduates; all CAB students for cooperating with bus drivers for a safe school year; Madison Irwin, Ryan Johnson, Annie Moore, Caitlyn Gunn, Morgan Roberts and Kelton Magee for being Presidential Award winners; Shane Sirosky for volunteering his time to help with the Kennard Elementary Field Day; Adam Bundy, Meghan Cupp; Cameron Fender, Brock Harding, Spencer Mattix, Tori McDonald, Kylie Morris, Drake Peggs, Andrew Selvidge, Hannah Thomas, Lacy Thomas, Logan Whitker and Amanda Wolfrom for being Knightstown Elementary Fifth Year Super Readers.

Pavy also gave recognition to the following CAB employees: Andrea Sharp and Michelle Swift for coordinating a successful non-certified recognition program; and all bus drivers for their loyalty, professionalism and safety during the 2007-2008 school year. Others receiving recognition from Pavy were: all vendors who donated items for the non-certified recognition program; the KES PTO for funding new cafeteria décor; and to Sunshine Harding, Sherri and Erica Messer, and Patti Wolfrom for painting the walls of the cafeteria.
