According to a press release issued by Henry County Clerk Pat French, registered voters who expect to be absent from the county on Election Day may apply for and vote by absentee ballot in the Henry County Justice Center, 1215 Race Street, New Castle. The last day to vote by absentee ballot is Monday, May 5, at noon.
Hours for absentee voting at the Justice Center are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Absentee voting will also be offered those same hours on Saturday, April 26, and Saturday, May 3.
French's office is also accepting applications from confined voters and voters who are out of the county.
