 Historical Society Hosting 120th Annual Meeting

April 25, 2007 - The public is invited to the 120th annual meeting of the Henry County Historical Society on Sunday, April 29 from 2-4 p.m.

Following a short business meeting before the program, Larry Francer of Historic Farmland USA will talk about recent efforts to save the Randolph County Courthouse, including the famous Calendar Girls. He will also talk about Historic Farmland and the revitalization efforts in Farmland. Mr. Francer is currently working on a documentary that focuses on “saving a small town.”

Kristina Fowl will perform a short musical program on the harp after Mr. Francer’s presentation.

Refreshments will also be served after the meeting. The event is free and open to the public. The meeting will take place at 606 S. 14th Street in New Castle.
