 Henry County BZA Considers Requests

February 14, 2007 - The Henry County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a meeting Tuesday, February 13, at 7 p.m. in the Court House Annex Meeting Room, 101 South 12th Street, New Castle, to consider several requests.

Case C:2193 - An appeal has been filed by Kevin and Brenda Jessie, 2720 N. Christopher Drive, New Castle, requesting a variance for inadequate side set back. They would like to build an addition to the south side of their home but would be within three foot of the property line at one point. Property located at 2720 N. Christopher Drive, New Castle. Being in Raintree Heights Subdivision and in Henry Township.

Other Business

*Katherine Shumaker, 1820 South CR 400 West, New Castle, has asked to appear before the board and request additional time for her Temporary Mobile Home permit, Case C:2136, approved for two years and expires March 1.

*The Board needs to approve the Findings of Fact for the appeal by the Brower Corp. of the Henry County Planning Commission’s decision to approve Case B: 2038, for a Commission Approved Use (CAU) for a Confined Feeding Operation. The BZA heard the appeal on Tuesday October 3, 2006.

*Appoint someone from the Board of Zoning Appeals to set on the Henry County Planning Commission Technical Review Committee.
